We would love to introduce you to our newly elected President of the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Regenia Willis Wells!!!
Regenia has served multiple roles involved with Animal Control for 21 years. She is currently employed with the City of Adel Police Department in Georgia, where she serves as the sole Animal Control Officer. Regenia has been a part of the GACA for 16 years where she served as a past president and was currently the Secretary/Treasurer for the past 6 years. Regenia is also of service to her community as a board member of the Southeastern Animal Control Association Board for the past 2 years. Throughout her professional career, Regenia received multiple awards for her hard work and dedication to the profession and recently awarded the Animal Control Officer of the Year for the Southeastern Animal Control Association!!
We would love to introduce you to our newly elected Vice President of the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Patrick Quinn!!! Patrick is currently employed with the City of Doraville Police Department in Georgia as an Animal Control Officer. He is a Nationally Certifed Animal Control Officer through the National Animal Care and Control Association and is a part time Code 3 Officer with them as well. Patrick has served two years on the GACA Board and served as this past years Secretary. He also has served two years on the Southeastern Animal Control Association Board as Secretary and was recently elected to serve another term. Even with all his hard work in the field of Animal Control, Patrick also is a combat veteran. He proudly served our amazing country for 14 years in the United States Army. We look forward to having Patrick as our Vice President and we thank him for his dedication/service to his country!
We would love to introduce you to our newly elected Board Member to the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Melissa Haller!! Melissa is currently employed as the Intake Supervisor of Cherokee County Animal Control, where she has served her community for over 7 years. She has also been an Animal Control Officer for 6 years as well as a Post Certified Peace Officer for 8 years. Melissa was recently selected to serve her 2nd term on the Southeastern Animal Control Association. This will be Melissa's 2nd term to serve as a member of the Georgia Animal Care and Control where she was recently elected to serve as the Secretary/Treasurer! We are so excited to have her and expect great things
We would love to introduce you to our newly elected board member to the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Jessica Stone! Jessica currently works for the Berrien County Animal Shelter in Georgia for the past 10 years. She has worked as the Director and sole Animal Control Officer for 8 of those years. Jessica is a Nationally Certifed Animal Control Officer through the National Animal Care and Control Association. She was awarded Animal Services Employee of the Year for Georgia in 2020 as well as the Berrien County Animal Shelter receiving the award of Animal Welfare Agency of the Year in 2020 from GACA. Jessica will be serving her second term as a member of GACA and this term, will be overseeing all social media . Jessica was recently selected to serve her first term with the Southeastern Animal Control Association Board . We look forward to having her
We would love to introduce you to our newly elected Board Member to the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Cindy Wiemann! Cindy is the Director of Newton County Animal Control in Covington, GA. She has served on the GACA Board since 2002, serving 4 years as President and 10 years as Secretary/Treasurer. One of her primary roles during that time, was at the Georgia Capital where she networked with advocacy groups and lobbyist on laws to better protect companion animals from abuse and neglect. Cindy also served on the National Animal Care and Control Association Board of Directors for 9 years. For 6 of those years, she was chair of the Finance Committee as Treasurer. Cindy also is currently is the Vice-President of SENC Rescue, a group dedicated to rescue unwanted and homeless Newfoundland dogs. We are so pleased and honored to have Cindy on the GACA Board again this year!
We would love to introduce you to our newly elected Board Member to the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Haley Brown! Haley has 6 years experience in Animal Control. She is currently employed as the Supervisor of Forsyth County Animal Services where she has served her community for over 3 years. Haley is a Nationally Certifed Animal Control Officer through the National Animal Care and Control Association. She is also a Cerified Animal Cruelty Investigator through the University of Missouri. This is Haley's first year serving on GACA where she will be assisting in web design! She was also recently selected to serve her first term on the Southeastern Animal Control Association!! We are so excited to have Haley on GACA and look forward to great things from her!
We would love to introduce you to our newly elected board member to the Georgia Animal Care and Control Association (GACA) Jennifer Baker!! Jennifer is employed with the City of Grantville in Georgia. She has served as a Code Enforcement Officer and an Animal Control Officer for the past 3 years. She also has 20 years of previous experience as a Dispatcher for law enforcement agencies. This is Jennifer's first year serving on GACA and she will be an asset to the Association!!
