What is GACA?
Georgia Animal Control Association (GACA) was formed for the expressed purpose of assisting its Animal Control, Animal Shelter and Animal Welfare staff to perform their duties in a professional manner. We believe only carefully selected and properly trained animal control personnel can correct community problems resulting from irresponsible animal ownership.

The Georgia Animal Care & Control Association is committed to setting the standard of professionalism in animal welfare through education, training, networking, and advocacy.
